Eating their young

Now that the election is over, there are lessons to be learned about our politicians and the special interest groups -- from neocons to evangelicals, to business and defense lobby groups and beltway law firms -- that buy our congressmen and their respective congressional votes in the form of "campaign contributions" or contributions to a legislator's favorite attack PACs.

This is how it's always been though, but the names have changed from mob, good ol' boys to PAC and Lobbyist.
